FAQ
Questions people ask before the first jar.
QIs this meant to be cooked in the pan?+
A
No. Tuz Biber is intended as a finishing seasoning, added after the food is cooked and plated.
QWhy are there only five ingredients?+
A
So the flavor reads cleanly and intentionally — warm, savory, textural, and never crowded.
QCan I use it on eggs and bread?+
A
Yes. It works especially well with eggs, burrata, vegetables, grilled meats and warm olive oil bread.
QDoes it contain allergens?+
A
Yes, it contains sesame. Sesame is the defining ingredient of the blend.
QHow is it different from other seasoning blends?+
A
The sesame is toasted first, then crushed rather than ground to a powder. That releases its oil and aroma while keeping a texture you can feel on the plate.
QWhere is it made?+
A
It is made in small batches in Sarasota, Florida by Chef İnan Doğru. The recipe comes from his family kitchen in Thrace.
QWhen will the next release happen?+
A
We release in small batches. Joining the list is the best way to hear about the next run before it sells out.
